River Valley Shopping Center Swords is located in the River Valley estate in Swords off
the Forest Road. The main tenant is Supervalu and the Peacock pub and restaurants. Other shops in the center are - Ladbrooks Bookies, Valley News Agent, The Valley Chipper, a
chemist/pharmacy, a Chinese take away and the post office. The center also has petrol pumps. The large car park
is used as a ''Park And Ride'' for people travelling to Dublin City.
River Valley is the second largest housing estate in Ireland. Building began in 1971 and continued until
the 1980s when the final phase of Brookdale was completed.
