The Old Boro pub is located at the junction of Main Street Swords and Malahide Road, The pub
is a former National School and was used by the Protestant residents of Swords until it's closure in 2000.
The interior of the pub is quiet modern in it's design and layout but also holds onto
the traditional decor of the Irish pub.
It's a busy place at the weekends with the late bar on Saturday nights, the pub caters
for mostly over 30s and the music is provided by D.J. Live music on Friday nights.
There is an upstairs part of the pub that's not open yet, The pub is quiet dark so not
a place for a quiet drink and a read of the newspaper.
The price of drink is on the high side with Guinness and Smithwicks costing €4.90 and
a pint of Carlsberg at €5.30, it's hard to see how this high price is justified when other pubs can charge just €4.20
a pint.
