A judge in Dublin's high court has overturned the Minister For Transport's decision to allow the 41x bus to use The Dublin
Port Tunnel. A private bus company, ''Swords Express'' brought the action against Dublin Bus. The court ruling was made because
the Swords Express service was using the tunnel first. This ruling means that the 41x cannot now use the tunnel and must now
head straight into the traffic at Santry and Whitehall on route to the City Centre. This case in The High Court cost half
a million euro for the four day hearing. Dublin Bus is a state owned company, The Dublin Port Tunnel is also a state owned
company which was built with tax payers money.
